Everyone ages 8 to seniors is warmly invited to join this FREE community music workshop series!

Spend an inspiring afternoon with award-winning Blues-Soul artist Lady A – The Real Lady A, award-winning drummer and producer John Oliver III, and award-winning Canadian Blues artist Shakura S'Aida.

These renowned artists and experienced workshop facilitators will lead an interactive experience of storytelling, listening, and songwriting. Together, we'll share our lived experiences and transform them into original music that reflects our voices, our communities, and our stories.

Whether you're young, young at heart, or somewhere in between, you'll discover how music can connect generations, strengthen communities, and inspire meaningful conversations. No musical experience is needed—just bring your curiosity, your stories, and an open heart.

Old Town Summer Concert Series - Tacoma, WA

The Old Town Summer Concert Series returns to Old Town Park every Wednesday in July and August from 6:30-8:30, celebrating its 12th year of bringing free live music, family fun, and community connection to the heart of Old Town Tacoma.

This year’s lineup is packed with crowd favorites, acclaimed touring artists, multiple award winners, and even a Grammy Award-winning performer, making 2026 one of the strongest seasons in the series’ history.

Presented free to the public, the concert series has become a beloved gathering place where neighbors connect, local businesses shine, and music lovers of all ages enjoy summer evenings together.

The 2026 season also marks the final year for longtime producer Kim Archer, who has helped guide and grow the series into one of Tacoma’s most anticipated summer events. A well-known local musician and community advocate will assume production duties beginning in 2027, with an official announcement coming later this season.

A Pacific Northwest favorite, Leroy Bell has been writing and performing for decades, both as a solo artist and with His Only Friends. Co-headlining the evening is acclaimed Pacific NW Blues-Soul artist, Lady A, whose commanding voice and heartfelt performances have made her a standout on stages across the country.
