BIG CUP

Lady A ~ The Real Lady A's new release Big Cup has enough personality to fill up a stadium. This new Blues tune is upbeat, confident, and fun from beginning to end. It has a hook that sinks its claws into the listener's permanent memory, and appears when you want to tell someone to shut the hell up. Citing some specific examples, the lyrics target those people who can't mind their own business and raises a big middle finger. Lady A brings so much attitude and delivers a seriously engaging performance. She has a personality that cannot be messed with, and isn't afraid to bring an edge. Particular to Big Cup is the guitar solo. It rips through the sound with a white-hot heat, and sets up the next part of the tune. With the release of Big Cup, Lady A ~ The Real Lady A provides an anthem with a big Blues sound and even bigger attitude.

The hook in this tune is just so catchy. You almost know what it will be before you hear it for the first time. It says what you want to say, but have to be polite instead. This is a tune that lets loose in its lyrics, vocals, and the instrumental work.

Fans of Blues bands with a big sound will dig Big Cup by Lady A ~ The Real Lady A.

This new song by the Seattle-based singer fits very well in the modern worlds of Soul and Blues. At its core, it is like an embrace from a loved one. It is a contender for having the most relatable lyrics than any other song of this year.

As the title suggests, Wash These Blues Away just wishes the hurt and pain of loss would go away.

The message is delivered through top rate singing by Lady A, and enhanced with some seriously killer instrumental work. This is one of those instances where a band and singer seem to be matched up perfectly.

All in all, the mood, message, and singing all make Wash These Blues Away worthy of its spot on your Soulful playlists.

This track has some serious Soul. From the first few bars to the final notes, you can feel it deep down in your bones. Lady A has a vocal tone that speaks volumes and goes straight to the listener's core. There is also a very fine moment in the lead guitar where a resolution is withheld and then given to the listener like a gift from above. Listen till the end to find out where this might be!
